Trust Centre
Handing your harvest to someone else's store is an act of trust. This is what stands behind it today: how a warehouse gets listed, how rent is handled, and what happens when something goes wrong. Below that, what we are building next.

What is live, and what is nextVerified warehouse listings
Live nowPhase OneEvery store is visited before it goes up. Operator identity, ownership and the stated capacity are checked, and the verified mark on a listing means that check passed.
Paystack rent payments
Live nowPhase OneRent is charged through Paystack rather than paid to an operator directly, so every booking leaves a receipt on both sides.
Capacity reporting
Live nowPhase OneOperators report free space against booked space, and the figure on a listing is the one your booking is taken from. Overbooking a store is refused at the point of payment.
Digital warehouse receipts
In progressPhase TwoA signed record of what you put in, at what grade and on what date. The document you need to prove a holding without driving to the store.
Rent held until intake is confirmed
In progressPhase TwoPayment sits with MORRTOWN until the operator confirms your produce arrived and was weighed in, then releases. Non-arrival refunds automatically.
Spoilage and loss cover
PlannedPhase TwoA claims process for produce lost or degraded in store, with the operator's grading record and intake weight as the evidence base.
Receipts as loan collateral
PlannedPhase ThreeLending partners accept a warehouse receipt as security, so grain in store can raise working capital without being sold early.

If something goes wrong
- 1
Report it from the warehouse page
Raise a claim against the store and the specific booking. Your intake weight and grading record attach automatically.
- 2
The operator has 72 hours to respond
They either accept, or submit their own intake and storage records for the same period.
- 3
MORRTOWN decides on the records
Where the two accounts disagree, the weighbridge and intake logs settle it. Rent for the disputed period is refunded when a claim is upheld.
0.4% of bookings ended in an upheld claim last year. Browse verified stores →
